Qualified Driver Class 3 (Wheeled) on June 19, 1943.

Overseas on September 14, 1943.

Qualified Driver I/C (Wheeled) Class 3 on May 1, 1944.

Unit: Canadian Section, General Head Quarters 2nd Echelon,  21 Army Group.

Pte G.D. Warren died at Aalst, Belgium, on 22 March '45, in a motorcycle accident at approximately 1830 hrs. In all probability death was instantaneous. Cause of death was primarily a compound fracture of the skull with extensive brain laceration and secondly, loss of blood from massive brain hemorrhage. 

Jozef de Smedt, civilian employee of the same unit, received in the same accident, injuries from which he died on 25 March '45. Fractured skull, fractured lower jaw and a fractured left wrist as well as bruises all over his body.
