Promoted to the rank of Flying Officer on August 18, 1943.

Assigned to the 207 R.A.F. Squadron on May 25, 1944.

207 Squadron reported that Lancaster aircraft ME683 with a crew of 7 failed to return from an operational attack on Wesseling, Germany. It left base at 2320 hrs on the 21st June, 1944. After with no further new was received.
