Died from injuries when being stroke twice by two Army vehicles near the rail station of Eeklo, Belgium. When the ambulance arrived Leo already passed away. They took him to the Military hospital Ter Doorn, Eeklo and temporary buried him among the other fallen soldiers in the yard.
