The photo of the two uniformed men are of Victor Sanders (left) and Reginald Mike Powley (right). The photo was taken on the Powley farm in Odessa, Ontario right before they were shipped off to Europe. The other photograph is with Rita Powley. Victor lived on the farm next to Ria's and were quite good friends.
Reginald survived the war and married a Dutch woman named Dirkje Hageman in the Netherlands but they called her "Dixie".
Both Reginald and Victor were in the Canadian Scottish Regiment.
