2 Brothers served in the Italy campaign. Trooper W. Lorne (survived) and Lance Corporal B/9669 Charles Cecil, Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment was killed in action on December 13, 1944. Buried in Villanova Canadian War Cemetery, Italy. Plot 7, Row C, Grave 9.
A third brother Allan Lloyd served with the Provost Corps. Possibly also in Italy.
