DAIGLE, PATRICE - North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment (incorrect)

Private Patrice Daigle G/2457 (age 21) from St. Charles, New Brunswick, Canada disembarked in France on August 29, 1944 and was enlisted as a member of the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment, 10 Bn. On September 1, 1944 he was transferred to the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. Only 10 days later we was killed in action near De Panne, Belgium.

The findings of Commonwealth-Adegem's research were offered to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and after their research they confirmed that Private Daigle was a member of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders during his active duties.
