Corporal John Alexander McNeil (age 37) G/22663 (North Shore Regiment) was born in St. Margaret Village, Victoria County, Nova Scotia, Canada. He disembarked in France on D-DAY June 6, 1944.
Researching his service records made clear that his service number suppose to be F/97412 instead of E/97412. As well his surname spelled incorrect.
Commonwealth War Graves Commission confirmed these findings.
