The total strength today of men working in the Shops and the Supply Dump is 4 Officiers, 2 Company Sergeant-Majors, 2 Staff Sergeants, 4 Sergeants, 11 Lance Sergeants and 240 men.
The tonnage discharged from Barges today was 300 tons, with 13 Barges still waiting to be unloaded.
Captain Davis paid a visit to Captain Jepson's office today and made arrangements to have all Cabooses Mattresses and Cushions taken out of all future Cabooses built by La Brugeoise and stored in the M.T. Garage at Group H.Q. in Brugge, Belgium.
R.T.O. informed this office that another train lead of Warflate have arrived and unloading of same should start tomorrow if room wil permit. Bex Car material also arrived by rail but will have to be returned to loading destination at Brugge to be loaded onto smaller wagons, so that they will pass on our Transfer Tables.
Today production was 18 Wagons consisting of 15 (20 ton) Box Cars, 2 (50 ton) Warflate and 1 (40 ton) Gondola. The production dropped in the Shops because of the change over from 40 & 50 ton stock to 20 ton Stock.
Sapper Bernier, P.J. was killed at the Supply Yard at 1410 hrs in performance of his duty, whilst operatin a Crane.
All personnel interviewed this evening in the Billets are their reallocation and demobilisation plans, volunteering their services for the Far East Forces or the Army of Occupation.
