Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C.
Canada
4th Canadian Armoured Division

No2 District Depot Algonquin Regiment.

Reported missing in action on September 14, 1944. (Battle for Molentje, Belgium.)

Service records report killed in action. Another source report that L/Cpl Chedore was wounded and taken prisoner. Last scenario makes sense based on the place of temporary burial.

A news clipping tells Kenneth had 4 brothers in the army (Pilot Officer Lester, Lieutenant Phillip, Gunner Clifford (discharged) and Private Floyd) and that his father was a member of the Veterans Guard.
