Wellington III DF673 AA returned from a mission to Nuremberg, Germany. In the region of Stekene, Belgium it came under attack of a German night fighter. (I don't know who claimed this aircraft.) The bomber caught fire and crashed at Pereboomsgat, Belgium. The crew tried to bail out at low altitude. There were no survivors.
